Charlotte's First Six Months

So, Charlotte is six months old now. Everything seems to have gone by so much faster this time around, and suddenly my tiny baby is so big! And, although we have lots of pictures, I have barely blogged at all since Charlotte was born. Taking care of Elise and Charlotte is a demanding job! Charlotte, hopefully you will forgive me one day for neglecting to document your first months the way I would have liked.
Here's a giant post full of tons of pictures of Charlotte so far. (Except for Christmas, since I already blogged about that.) A few pictures might be repeats from other posts, but these are my favorites so far. (Also, they somehow got out of order, but they're pretty close to chronological.)

Charlotte is such a joy! I love that sweet girl.

Fun at Dare to Dream

Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream was last night. Unfortunately, Elise woke up sick yesterday morning. I was pretty bummed since I had been so excited for her to see the show, but thankfully we were able to offer our tickets to some good friends of ours who have a six-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl. Here's what they had to say about the show.

We had so much fun going to Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream.  Honestly, we hesitated taking our 6 year old son because we knew that it was about princess stories, but he had a great time.  Our 2 year old daughter loved it, so much that she didn't want to bother with pictures; she was too busy looking at everything.  Even though this is a children's show, my husband and I enjoyed it as well.  The costumes and music were beautiful.  The skaters were very talented.

One of my son's favorite parts was when Rapunzel and Flynn flew in her hair.  It was amazing to see how much they could do and how high they could go on what looked like a simple piece of fabric.  He also thought the Zamboni that came out during intermission was pretty cool!  What can I say?  He's a 6 year old boy!

As expected, my daughters favorite was Cinderella.  She also loved that so many of the characters waved right to her!  She did get a little nervous during the villain parts, but sitting in my lap seemed to put her at ease.

We all laughed at the horse from Tangled.  The talent of the two skaters inside that costume is absolutely amazing.  I would love to go behind the scenes just to see the details of how the costume works.

Overall, it was a wonderful evening for our family.  We absolutely would recommend Disney on Ice to anyone with children or really anyone who loves Disney movies.
