Easter Weekend 2013

We had a great Easter weekend. We spent Saturday at my sister Holly's house with her awesome family. In the morning, we went to their community's Easter party.

Elise and Savannah
ready for the egg hunt

I love Savannah's face in this one.

Elise liked it so much, she went again (out of turn).

snow cones!

Charlotte's was just ice without flavoring. She loved it.

Elise only got like two eggs in the hunt (age range for her area was up to 6 years old, which I thought could have been divided again). Some nice man working the event noticed, though, and gave her some more eggs.

hot dogs and Cheetos for lunch

Actually, make that just Cheetos.

(not technically Elise's Grammi since she's my sister's MIL, but Elise calls her Grammi like the other kids)

Poor Holly was sick earlier in the day, but thankfully started feeling better  in time for us to eat and visit with her some.

Matt and Elise took a rest before Easter dinner

Easter dinner was so yummy!

Charlotte liked playing with this toy.
It's really supposed to look like a dog, but Jonathan called it a rabbit and Matt called it a bear.

Ryland ate his cupcake in like four bites. haha

In this picture, Hudson looks just like Leighton when Leighton was a baby.

Uncle Jonathan loves Charlotte.
She loves him too, but she was really tired when I took this picture.

Holly's backyard is fun! Maybe one day we'll have a backyard.

Love this boy!

On Easter, Matt played the organ and sang in the choir at church (he sounded great, by the way!). That meant he was there by 7:45am for 8:30am church, so I had to get the girls ready myself. We were late, but only a little. I thought the girls looked adorable in their matching dresses. And Matt is always handsome, especially in a tie.

Let's not forget the reason for Easter, our Savior Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful to know that my Redeemer lives. My relationship with Jesus Christ brings so much peace and happiness and hope into my life.

Charlotte's First Six Months

So, Charlotte is six months old now. Everything seems to have gone by so much faster this time around, and suddenly my tiny baby is so big! And, although we have lots of pictures, I have barely blogged at all since Charlotte was born. Taking care of Elise and Charlotte is a demanding job! Charlotte, hopefully you will forgive me one day for neglecting to document your first months the way I would have liked.
Here's a giant post full of tons of pictures of Charlotte so far. (Except for Christmas, since I already blogged about that.) A few pictures might be repeats from other posts, but these are my favorites so far. (Also, they somehow got out of order, but they're pretty close to chronological.)

Charlotte is such a joy! I love that sweet girl.
