Rockin' Ever After

We had such a fun time last night at Disney On Ice presents Rockin' Ever After! The girls loved it, especially Elise. Matt thinks it was the best Disney On Ice show we have been to yet, and I agree.

Charlotte taking it all in
I wasn't a huge fan of the very beginning and end of the show, which were a little too "pop" for my taste, but the middle was classic and very well done.

The Little Mermaid portion was one of my favorite parts, and the girl who played Ariel was a great skater. They had some really cool undersea effects.

Elise loved the Tangled part of the show.

Matt captured this cool shot of Rapunzel about to knock out Flynn Rider.

The lanterns were really neat.

This was at intermission, I think. Elise was overjoyed to learn that the show wasn't over yet.
Merida from Brave was awesome. I thought her wig looked great, and she played the spunky princess very well.

Elise was still worried on the ride home that Merida had broken the target with her arrow. (It was supposed to break as an effect.)
I loved the costume for Belle from Beauty and the Beast. It looks simple, but it flowed just perfectly and reminded me of the movie so much. Belle was my favorite princess growing up.

Very flowy, no?

The villagers lighting their torches to come attack the Beast. I didn't see much of this part because it was getting late and Charlotte was done, but Elise was still totally enthralled.

There was some great ice skating. This is Belle and Prince Adam (the Beast after he isn't the Beast anymore).

the big finale
We had a really great time, and I'm so glad we got to attend this show. If you are considering going, I would recommend it!
P.S. Matt took all these pictures. Didn't he do a great job? I was impressed by the quality of the photos, especially considering the show lighting and the constant motion (since they were all skating and dancing the entire time).
