Night Owl

The other night, Elise was hysterical during dinner at about 5:30 pm, even though she had napped earlier in the day. We didn't know what else to do, so we gave her some ibuprofen (teething?) and put her to bed. She went right to sleep and slept from about 5:45 pm to about 7:30. Her normal bedtime is 7:00. We tried unsuccessfully to get her to go back to sleep for about an hour before we decided just to get her up again.

She had more to eat (she didn't finish her dinner before because she was freaking out so much), and we gave her a bath.

Then she started acting hilarious. So we started taking video, of course. This is what our daughter looks like when she's hyper because it's way past her bedtime and she's really tired.

I'm not exactly sure what she's doing in this first one, but it made Matt and me laugh. We called it her creeper walk. After, I suppose she's trying to scare us.

Then she was doing some "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes." Head and toes are her favorites. And nose.

By the time she finally went back to sleep, I was exhausted and ready for bed. Good thing she doesn't usually do this, but when she does, she sure makes us laugh.
