Then I forgot Elise's pacifier, so Matt had to run home after sacrament to get it for us. Also, it was snowing everywhere, but I brought Elise to church in a short sleeved shirt (and a jacket and blanket) because she had thrown up all over her sweater, poor baby. I think her stomach is feeling bad. I'm pretty sure she has diarrhea too (she pooped all over me right after church while Matt was still at church practicing the organ). We're going to try to bring her to the doctor again in the morning. I wish that child could stay well!
I also forgot an extra blanket for her. I guess I'm just forgetful today. Then we went through the ordeal of trying to feed her away from home while she was feeling bad and was tired. That was interesting. She let out the biggest burp I think I've ever heard from her, and then she fell asleep right at the end of Sunday school. Hallelujah! That was such a blessing because today I had to teach in Relief Society. My lesson went okay I guess, but I kept getting distracted by babies crying in the hall. I was sure they were all Elise. They weren't. She slept through all of Elder's Quorum in Matt's arms. Can I just say hallelujah again?
Then I was exhausted. I ended up taking a long nap in the evening. I woke up and fed Elise when she needed to eat, and then we both went to sleep. Now it's after midnight, and she still isn't awake. She hasn't eaten in about 5 hours now. I am about to go wake her up to eat before I head to bed.
So, why is this post titled "Rest & Relaxation"? That's a good question. Thanks to Matt, I was able to get a lot of R&R tonight. I feel refreshed and ready for a new week. So thank you, Matt. You make my life not only possible but a lot of fun too.
